I was traveling with my oldest son on an educational tour with his classmates and other parents about a year after my surgery. We were in Italy and Greece. We were doing a lot of walking as we toured many beautiful ancient cities.
On one of our final days, I suddenly felt the wetness that wasn’t sweating. What? It wasn’t a large amount but let’s face it no amount of pee is ok! I immediately called home and my husband consulted my urologist who had done my bladder repair surgery.
He said that I didn’t need to fly home immediately but to see him as soon as I got back. I did just that shortly after returning home. He informed me that “The surgery was successful and everything looked good”. That was it. I was leaking urine but hey “everything looked good”. End of story.
