Dr. Kristin Sorvig

PT, DPT, Cert. MDT. | Co-Owner

Dr. Kristin Sorvig is a licensed Physical Therapist with over a decade of professional experience in outpatient orthopedics. It is both her passion and privilege to help people with musculoskeletal conditions improve their quality of life and enable them to live life to the fullest.

In 2017, she earned certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) through the McKenzie Institute. MDT is an internationally acclaimed system of assessment and management for both the spine and extremities. One of the few certified providers in the region, Dr. Sorvig has had great success over the years using this approach helping patients both to understand their potential to self-manage, and providing them with proper solutions to resolve their symptoms. In addition to MDT, she is also a certified ASTYM provider and has advanced training in the evaluation and prescription of custom foot orthotics.

Kristin grew up in the country near Harwood, ND and is a graduate of West Fargo High School. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2011. While completing her degree, she competed on the UND volleyball team where she earned Scholar Athlete honors and Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll awards. After graduating from UND, she worked in private practice in St. Cloud, MN.

Desiring to get closer to family, she returned to Fargo with her husband, and worked in the outpatient clinic of a large hospital system until joining BeWell Physical Therapy in 2021. She is an exercise enthusiast who is passionate about health and fitness. She enjoys spending free time with family and friends. Kristin and her husband, who is also a physical therapist, have 3 young children and reside in Fargo, ND.

Dr. Aaron Sorvig

Aaron treats a wide range of general orthopedic conditions, provides vestibular rehabilitation services, performs assessments and casting for custom foot orthotics, and is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), also known as the McKenzie Method. The McKenzie Method gives patients control of their pain and empowers them to get back to the life they love. This evidence-based approach to musculoskeletal care emphasizes patient education, self-treatment, and long-term solutions proven to work for acute, subacute, and chronic conditions of the spine and extremities. By focusing on what patients need and equipping them with the tools to manage their condition, Aaron helps individuals achieve lasting improvements in function, independence, and quality of life.

Aaron Sorvig is a 2005 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, Aaron brings extensive experience in physical therapy and patient care. He grew up in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and spent the first 10 years of his career living and working in Sartell/St. Cloud for an outpatient private practice before moving to Fargo in 2015 to be closer to family as he and his wife, Kristin, looked to raise a family of their own.

As a father of three children ages 10, 7, and 4, Aaron enjoys being an active part of their childhood, helping coach baseball and basketball, and serving as a small group leader in Sunday school. These experiences reflect his commitment to building strong relationships, supporting others, and fostering growth both personally and professionally. Aaron is also committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and regular exercise, values that align closely with his passion for helping others improve their health and well-being. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, as well as tinkering with small carpentry projects and mechanic work. Aaron is excited to contribute to the organization's mission, provide exceptional care and service, and continue supporting patients, colleagues, and the community.
